Matchdays at the PSD Bank Arena are generally fantastic! The atmosphere is great, and in my opinion, there are plenty of options to buy food and drinks, though at high prices. Half al liter of a soft drink costs €5 if I remember correctly.
The only downside is the hygiene in the restrooms of the standing area, which could be better. However, this is probably more the responsibility of the visitors to keep them clean.
As someone coming from outside Frankfurt, I prefer taking the train to reach the PSD Bank Arena rather than driving. Several subway stations are within close proximity. Of course, there is also a large parking lot at the Eishalle, but it is often either completely or partially blocked for other events, making parking difficult in such cases.
