PSD Bank Arena
PSD Bank Arena is a football stadium in Frankfurt am Main, Germany with an 12.542 capacity including 4.139 seating.[1] It is the home stadium of Frankfurt Galaxy since the inaugural 2021 ELF season. Originally, the stadium was named Stadion am Bornheimer Hang. Bornheimer Hang is a small park in the East of Frankfurt. The PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen became name sponsor in 2018, the initial contract was extended to 2028.
The stadium is owned by the city of Frankfurt. Main tenant stadium is the soccer club FSV Frankfurt, currently in the fourth division Regionalliga Südwest. Previously it was also used by the no defunct FSV Frankfurt woman soccer team and rival 1. FFC Frankfurt including several European woman's cup finals. The stadium is next to the ice hockey stadium of Löwen Frankfurt in the DEL.

The stadium was originally built in 1931 as field for the local FSV Frankfurt. Most of the stadium was destroyed in World War II, but it was rebuilt and reopened in 1953. It was also suitable for athletics. Between 2007 and 2009 the stadium was converted into a football-only stadium, rebuilding all of the stands. Since 2015, the American football club Frankfurt Universe played its home games in the stadium, averaging 4,000 to 5,000 attendance between 2015 and 2017.
Frankfurt Galaxy played all home games in the European League of Football but one in PSD Bank Arena. The average attendance developed from 2,120 in 2021 to 6,658 in 2023. The record attendance was 10,027 in the final regular season game of the ELF 2023 season against Rhein Fire.[2]
Transport connection[edit | edit source]
PSD Bank Arena is next to the underground station Johanna-Tesch-Platz. Parking is available at the Festplatz just behind the ice hockey stadium, however it is sometimes used by other events.
