ELF Playoff Format[edit | edit source]
The European League of Football’s playoff system rewards division champions while ensuring the most competitive teams reach the postseason. A total of six teams qualify for the playoffs based on their regular-season performance. [1]
Wildcard Round[edit | edit source]
The four division champions are seeded #1 through #4 based on their overall record. The two best non-division champions qualify as wildcard teams and are seeded #5 and #6. The wildcard round matchups are as follows:
#3 seed vs. #6 seed #4 seed vs. #5 seed
The top two seeds (#1 and #2) receive a bye in the wildcard round and advance directly to the semi-finals.
Semi-Final Round[edit | edit source]
The highest remaining seed will face the #2 seed, while the lowest remaining seed will take on the #1 seed.
Championship Game[edit | edit source]
The winners of the semi-finals move on to the Championship Game. The higher-seeded team will be designated as the home team for the final.
